Tuition and Policies

Tuition

The Triangle Youth Ballet is based on an academic year and enrollment is valid through June 2, 2018.  Arrangements for early withdrawal can be in the office.  Annual tuition is based on a 36-week course of study.  We offer quarterly payment plans for your convenience.  Though tuition is not payable by the month, installment plans are available.

We urge all students to take advantage of our make-up policy.  Classes missed for any reason can be made up in another comparable class, as long as the student is currently enrolled. Your teacher can help you make a selection.  For your convenience, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

Your $25 Membership Fee is applicable to your entire family and allows registration in any of our classes for the academic year.  If you choose not to become a member, a $25 Registration Fee is due for each dancer.  Membership fees, registration fees, and tuition are neither transferrable nor refundable.

$25.00 Returned Check Charge.
$25.00 Late Charge for accounts in arrears over 30 days.

  1. *Refunds may be granted in some cases of emergency of injury, only for classes missed after the Triangle Youth Ballet office is notified in writing, minus a $15.00 withdrawal fee.

Policies
Notice of Nondiscrimination Policy: The Triangle Youth Ballet admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to our students and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or ethnic origin in its admission policies, educational policies, scholarships, and other school-administered programs.

Attendance/Tardiness: Students are expected to attend all classes on time. Missed classes may be made up during the academic year. See your teacher for a recommended class.

Scholarships: Scholarship funds and procedures are in place for merit and financial need. Partial Scholarships are available to male dancers of merit. We currently have limited Work Study hours for dancers over the age of 15. Apply in office.

Inclement Weather Policy: If hazardous weather conditions cause the Triangle Youth Ballet to cancel classes or close early, announcements will be made on our FACEBOOK page, this website’s home page and our outgoing message voice message.

Showcase Week: In the last week of each quarter, families and friends are invited to observe classes. Check the message center for dates and times. Additional visits may be arranged with instructor.

Code Of Conduct: Dancers are expected to arrive on time and properly dressed for class. Everyone should behave in a polite and respectful manner. The faculty believes dance is best taught in a warm and supportive environment and every dancer has a responsibility to contribute to this goal.

Prompt Pick-up: Students should be picked up promptly after class. It is understood that the Triangle Youth Ballet and or its agents will not be responsible for any supervision other than the dance class or rehearsal time. A late-pick-up fee schedule is in effect.

Open Class Policy: Open classes are available to the general public with a dance background. You need not be registered or a member to participate. Open classes are payable in advance of the class at $15.00 per class.
